1 large onion, finely sliced
1 large green pepper, finely sliced
1⁄2 pound of fresh shaved steak
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1⁄2 teaspoon ground garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 – 12 packs of sweet buns
6 slices of provolone cheese
1 tablespoon of melted butter
1 teaspoon dried thyme (not ground)
1⁄2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

instructions :

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large saucepan, heat the oil and add the onions and green peppers. Cook over medium and high heat, stirring occasionally until peppers and onions are tender.

Next add shaved steak, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Cook the steak by breaking it with two forks to prevent the steak from clogging. Cook until steak is no longer red. Put the pan to the side.

Slice the sweet rolls in two horizontally while keeping the 12-pack of rolls intact. Place on baking sheet. Spread the steak mixture evenly over the bottom half of the buns. Top of cheese slices and top half of buns.

In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, dried thyme and Worcestershire sauce. Brush butter mix generously on top of buns.
Place sliders in oven and bake for 17-20 minutes or until tops are golden brown and cheese is melted.
